To the new and the old

We went back to my hometown to go to the Makerfaire. There were plenty of cool inventions/sights to see at the fair that included waterfall swings, robot powered rickshaws, programmable LED bike wheels, light up remote control sharks, man/bike powered concerts, Coke and mentos demonstrations, a fire tree, etc. But my favorite part was going back to the city where I grew up. I got to see old neighborhoods, schools I went to, parks where I used to play, and old friends. The best of all was spending the weekend with my best friend from toddlerhood until teenage years and seeing our two families hang out together.

Not sure what this was, but it was cool. ;)
