JR's first sleepover

JR had his first sleepover at a friends house on Friday night. His friend from across the street invited him over for a sleepover. It was the perfect first sleepover. If there were any issues, no problem just walk him across the street and he's home. But all went well. He ate dinner over there, and then brought a tent which they set up in Russell's room, then they got in thier PJ's and read some stories and got in the tent with their flashlights. Russell's mom said they stayed up past nine talking until JR finally told Russell to be quiet. Hee hee, that's my boy! They didn't wake up til after 7AM and then enjoyed a pancake breakfast. We picked JR up at 9:30. He had a blast. We'll have to try our house next time. Later that morning we went to watch the Picnic Day parade in the rain. Not as fun as the sleep over, but quite adventurous.
