Basketball

JR's basketball season has ended and we are now on to T-Ball, but here is a clip of JR's season. Of course I didn't get any video of JR making any shots, but he made a good amount.

Proud Mama

The picture is of JR with his science project board. He participated in the school science fair. I let him pick his project and let him be in charge of most of the work. As you can see from the title, he wanted to see which flower would grow the fastest. He picked out the seeds: sunflower, petunia, and poppy seed. He put the dirt in the cups, planted the seeds, helped me water them every day, and took notes in his notebook every day. When the data was collected, he put the data from his notebook in a chart and then graphed it, I let him type up info for the poster on my computer, and we colored the title and glued things on to the poster board. I was proud that he did all that work and it paid off. He won second place in the science fair. I am very proud.

To top it off, two days later he received an award at school for being respectful and then this weekend made a great rebound and two baskets at his basketball game. His certificate for his award at school included a coupon to go out to dinner so we went out to dinner to celebrate.

Tristan's 2 Year Pictures

We took Tristan to Kiddie Kandids to get his 2 year pictures taken. They got a few good ones and I bought WAY too many pictures. (Let me know if you want one!)

JR was invited to a pirate party and decided to get all dressed up. He got very pirate inspired and we made the hat, eye patch, and the sword the morning of the party.

While JR was at the party, we went out for coffee. A cute pic of Tristan outside with our drinks.

The weather has been so nice lately. A couple of weeks ago we had friends over and went to go play in the lake. It was beautiful and the 4 boys had fun getting wet and sandy.

Christmas morning pictures

JR was already dressed and ready to go but Tristan was still sleeping. So JR had to wake Tristan up with a kiss and a hug.

JR, dressed before everyone and wearing his tie, is very happy to see that Santa brought him everything on his wish list.

Tristan, even though he looks like he stuck his finger in the light socket, is very happy that Santa brought him a "bay - ba".

School Halloween Party

JR had a party for Halloween at school. The class had games, crafts, and a donut eating contest. Here is JR eating his donut.

We had a busy Halloween. I forgot my camera when we went to a friends house for a party and some trick-or-treating. I borrowed their camera and got a couple of pics. Not great, but here are my little dragon and firefighter. We had lots of fun even if we don't have the pics to document it.

Party Day

Today was JR's birthday party. We had the party at an indoor bounce arena. His whole first grade class was invited as well as some friends from Davis. And we had Mimi as a special guest for the weekend. I think everyone had a blast.
